Category Mitigation Efforts

There have been various efforts from a variety of sources including: government involvement, private/nonprofit organizations, individual attempts, etc. Many efforts focus on aspects that contribute to poverty (the causes) while other efforts attempt to address the effects of poverty. Some organizations/attempts have been geared to specific groups, while many attempt to help all victims of poverty.
