Digital Media

Digital Painting

Digital art that mimics the look of traditional paint, such as acrylics, oils, and watercolor. This is currently the medium and style that I experiment with the most throughout the year, and I greatly enjoy working on larger, finished pieces. Programs used are Corel Painter and Photoshop.

Lineart

A style of art that relies on outlines to define shapes. I generally dislike using lineart because it simply does not feel natural for me, and distracts me from coloring because I come to rely more on the lines than lighting to define the scene. However, I do experiment with the style on occasion, lining a piece digitally before coloring it. Programs used are Corel Painter and Photoshop.

Quickies

Digital art that does not take up much time to create, and includes smaller works of pixel art and various styles.
