The Northern lights is enough reason alone for many people to visit Alaska. Although it was not the cause of this fieldtrip, I was extremely pleased to see them for the first time in my life a few minutes ago. The picture is credited to a gentleman from China, Mr. Jacob Wu, who is visiting all the way from China along with his mother for three days – only for her to see the Northern lights. Mr. Wu had a better camera, able to capture the Aurora, and he was very generous to share it.
