I’m an outcast among muggles.

“how great it would be wave a stick, say ‘Tarantallegra’ and have someone immediately start dancing. Heck, I could use such a spell on myself so that I would no longer be an awkward lamp post at parties.”

Yea being left out for lack of dance skills suck. But in Macaulay it is much more likely for one to be outcasted if he or she does not share an enthusiasm for a story about a boy with a scar. I’m not supposed to say his name right? I kid. Nonetheless, this muggle has never finished a Harry Potter novel nor a film. Heck, my use of the world “Muggle” would be quite surprising to me if I hadn’t been insulted by the world last week. My point: I know nothing about the series. When this got out to my Macaulay peers (curse my openness) a couple passionate fans politely but aggressive instructed me to read the novels. Such shouldn’t have been a problem since the seven novels were already lined up on the CSI Macaulay Lounge Bookshelf.

Day one into my adventure into Hogwarts and I’m thinking CSI Macaulay should expand its HP DVD collection.

I’m in The Room- and can’t escape!

The Room is a 2003 movie starring Tommy Wiseau. Completely irrelevant: I joined the CSI swim team. The first thing I noticed about it, coming from high school, was that it was no longer the boys’ swim team; it was the men’s swim team. I was thusly made a man. And so I got ready for Adult Swim- the uncharted waters of the Cartoon Network. I kid. And as such, I went from watching Dexter’s Laboratory to Courage the Cowardly Dog to Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law without having to pick up a remote (we didn’t own one). And let me tell you, at the age of eight I was thoroughly traumatized by the content of the second cartoon!

For several hours (twelve seems sufficient) I shall lock myself in “The Room”- its one movie but due to its greatness it deserves the attention.
