Do I need to take the GRE?

Students in good standing who apply to SPH through the 4+1 pipeline program will have GRE requirements waived, except for students who pursue the Epidemiology/Biostatistics MPH. The Epidemiology/Biostatistics MPH requires the GRE.

Is there an application fee?

The usual SPH application fee of $135 will be waived for Macaulay students who attend one of the information sessions.

What does it take to apply?

To apply, you need to be a Macaulay student with a declared major who is in good standing with a GPA of at least 3.5. If you are accepted into the program, you must be able to complete your remaining undergraduate degree requirements on schedule (by the end of your 8th undergraduate semester) while taking the required SPH courses according to the specified course sequences.
When you apply, you need to submit a 1-2 page statement of interest, and an unofficial (CUNYFirst) transcript.

SPH holds classes at their Harlem campus on 125 Street and online.
