I found it interesting, at first, to look at paintings at more than just face value. However, I did not like engaging in conversation that I felt simply was not there. For me personally, I can look at a piece of art for a few minutes, but I don’t feel there is much to talk about. It is there to be enjoyed, but not to be analyzed.
