The Arcade Room was definitely a standout exhibit in the Brooklyn Museum. We analyzed the bright, vivid colors and the neon lightning. We discussed how the atmosphere made us feel like we were inside of a video game. We also discussed wether arcade games are truly a form of art. One thing we could’ve done to further analyze the exhibit is talk about the different video games and why the artists chose to include them. If we had more time, we would’ve played each game multiple times.
