Welcome to The New Normal exhibit! For our exhibit, we wanted to work around the theme of businesses during COVID-19. Restaurants and small businesses have been trying to work around the new regulations by coming up with creative solutions like building tents and extensions outside and posting signs on their doors. Some of these solutions have created new problems like parking loss and blocking streets with tables creating very interesting scenes. Throughout the Arts in NYC course, we have explored more about photography. As individuals, we took multiple photographs from our point of view to showcase our neighborhoods. We wanted to incorporate our perspective into the general idea of business because we believe it provides a unique perspective specific to us.
