The audience was mostly older in age or people who were musicians themselves. Everyone was so focused on the performance as if they couldn’t turn away and were deciphering a difficult puzzle. This was probably because of the expertise of the musicians. Their playing became so mesmerizing. I had overheard an older woman in the audience say that “their body movements accompanied the performance.” This is very true because such enthusiasm and passion in their playing really grabbed our attention and kept our focus. The stage was also set up to keep our attention to the center where the musicians sat. The room was rather plain which may have been to enhance acoustics. Overall, the atmosphere was professional and the audience seemed interested and happy with the performance.
