class, as i mentioned on wed. i want you to be thinking about topics you are interested in for your group research project. the possibilities are fairly wide open, though topics should relate to some aspect of public policy; that is, something city government does or does not do, should or should not do, etc. sometime before our next class (2/22) please email me with one or more topics of interest so we can begin to settle on our groups and projects. at this point your topics can be very general (e.g., policing, education, etc); one task of your group work will be to narrow and sharpen your focus. if you are really unsure, let me know and i can help.
