One of the responsibilities of sharing your work in the public domain is ensuring that any materials not created by you that are incorporated into your work be done so legally. The Internet has made it very easy to find and download music, videos and images. However, attributing the source of your media does not necessarily make your use of it legal under copyright law. A good way to ensure that you are on the right side of the law is to use Creative Commons licensed materials.
