Hello everyone,

My name is Seung Ah Choi, but I named myself as Karen soon after my family moved to the States from South Korea about 8 years ago! I have been living in the town of Flushing ever since we came here. I graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and I am very excited to attend college in Manhattan! I love the fact that the streets are always crowded and lively.

Below are some pictures of my childhood memories back in South Korea:

I believe I was around 6 or 7 in the pictures. I have no idea where the left picture was taken, but I remember that the right one was when my kindergarten class went on a field trip. I really enjoy looking through my photo albums whether I precisely remember when/where they were taken or not, as doing so takes me back to the good old days.

I generally like playing sports such as volleyball, bowling, and pool – although it doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m good at them! I don’t play any instruments, though I used to play piano as a kid; however, I definitely want to learn how to play guitar later. I wish to be more adventurous as I go on with my life, and hopefully the Macaulay honors program at Baruch College can be the stepping stone of my journey.
