Global bee population has declined significantly in recent years. While Colony Collapse Disorder has been cited as a potential cause, there is no conclusive solution to this problem. The goal of this group was to examine bee species diversity in NYC, through BioBlitz data from four years, from three locations: 2003 (Central Park), 2005 (Bronx River), 2013 (CP), and 2014 (Botanical Gardens); as well as data from the American Museum of Natural History. The group analyzed this data to compare the diversity of bee species in New York over time.
