This poster explores the topic of nutritious food access in New York City. The ‘Green Cart’ program was launched as an affordable alternative for impoverished neighborhoods as opposed to Farmer’s markets and supermarket stores. By determining percent consumption differences from 2008 to 2011, it analyzes whether there was a significant change and if Green Carts are an efficient alternative.
