Several landmarks from two New York World's Fairs still stand in Flushing Meadows, including the US Steel Unisphere

Located in the heart of Flushing Meadows Park., the Unisphere is a relic of the 1964 World's Fair. It was meant to be an emblem of the fair's theme-- "Peace Through Understanding.
