Interview Questions (for Librarian)

When did you immigrate to the U.S.? Did you come with family? Where do you live? Do you like living here? What is different? Would you like to go back someday?

Jackson Heights. Movie theatre? How often do you watch movies? Do you borrow them or watch them in theatres.

What types of movie genres are most popular? What is your favorite?

In your opinion, what makes an Indian film good? Is it the story line? The music? The dance? The actors?

Do most films take place in India?

What are most films about? Is it love? Family? Money?

Do you feel that Indian films accurately reflect certain Indian views or cultures such as marriage? What are they?

Are newer Indian films different than the classic Indian films? What changed? Are the storylines perhaps changing along? Take Dehli 6 for example, it is a film about Roshan who is of Indian descent but is born in America.

Do you like this change in Indian films or do you prefer the classic Indian film? Why?

Do you feel that younger generation of Indians like to watch Indian films as well or do they like Hollywood better?
