This is a good interview. One of the interesting bits, I think, is her comment on how women don't want to work here if they don't have to, if men earn enogh (like her own mother)yet her subsequent remarks that here ideas about women are centered on career (is she being educated for/pushed towards a career here?) Does that say something about the way migration helps alter gender roles? What does her father do? Is he a professional? Do family hopes of social mobility rest on her? You don't say who she is but I assume she's a student, so that must influence her attitudes.
