The following are some questions I have compiled that I thought might be helpful in a future interview.

5. I read that women normally follow their husbands, brothers, or other male family members to America. Does this apply to you?

6. Do female workers face problems when they decide they want to work? If so, what kind of issues arise? (familial duty)

7. Does this change the way they are viewed by the families/society?

8. How do you view your job? (I.e. do you do it for yourself or for your family?)

9. How is the way women are viewed in business in Jackson Heights different from the manner in which they are viewed in their hometowns?

I e-mailed Helen Sears, the Council Member for the 25th district; her office is on 74th street. She hasn't e-mailed me back but according to her biography, she is on boards for: Women's Issues (Chair); Finance; Health; Juvenile Justice; Land Use; Standards & Ethics; Zoning & Franchises. I believe she could be very helpful for some of our groups as she is chairwoman for so many committees that pertain to the research projects we discussed in class. This is her contact information:
