Many Mas-Camps—different nationalities put together Carnival every year - Costumes - Each group builds costumes in secret and reveals them at Carnival - Mark down their territory “Borokeet USA” and “Traffic & DJ Spice” - Costumes on exhibit in Brooklyn Public Library

Green Grocers - Bread, fruit, Yams of all sorts, okra, spices - Caribbean food

Guyana Gold—Guyanese love gold

Fish stores—eating kind of fish Roti Shop Barrel Shippers—ships food, clothing, Christmas, - La Parkan

Dollar Vans - Common in the Caribbean, smaller, buses in Caribbean - Not many buses - Not a dollar

1912- The Rugby Deliverance Congregation -49th St. and Snyder Ave. -500 people, 2 services, non-denomination, people of all different sects come -Bishop of 20 years Deacon Board (Support Pastor), Board of Trustees, Audio/Video Department -family counseling/ services, GED, computer classes, green cards, all free services -Used to be just preaching, singing a few songs, and go home -then lots of singing, jumping around, yelling, things like that -change occurred over 30 years, name now changed to The Rugby Deliverance Tabernacle -funded by the City Council -Medical Missions—10,000 people in 4 days -Mission work internationally and nationally -Guided service program, sometimes they stray from program
