Next stop on our train is the Meet the Artist: Alicia Hall Moran, located at the Macaulay Honors College on 67th street between Central Park West and Columbus Ave.
Alicia Hall Moran who according to her Bio, “brings diverse influences and passions together in a rich, quintessentially artistic view.”
I arrived at the event expecting some artist to talk about their experiences but Alicia Hall Moran was actually an incredibly energetic and interactive woman. She asked all of us to say a little about our selves and then gave us advice that applied to everyone regardless of their interests.
In the event, Alicia explained to us about two genres of music that she loves and that root from her childhood. What makes Alicia unique, is she mixes opera singing with mow town music in order to create something extraordinarily new and greatly entertaining.
This inspired me to try something that I have never done before, mix two things that I am proficient at, acrobatics and math.
