Katz Delicatessen speaks for itself. It is nationally known, and is constantly filled with tourists and natives alike. Its delicious sandwiches can cost you a pretty penny; nonetheless, it is still worth it to try it out at least once! If you are looking to save money, consider ordering a knish or a hot dog which are the cheaper things on their menu. This legend was created in 1888, my grandmother fondly recalls their advertisement “Send a Salami to your Boy in the Army,” during World War II. You must visit this place at least this once!
