This iteration of the course was improved and updated by reorganizing the working structure: one member from each group self-selected into a “planning committee,” developing the design and proposing the workflow in this group before taking the recommendations back to their groups for feedback, creating a more iterative process. This freed other members of the group to concentrate on more innovative features than the previous version of the project: video tours, for example, and extensive interviews (which involved editing and competency with SoundCloud). These interviews had the added advantage of meeting another of the course objectives: understanding of IRB requirements in sociological academic settings. Click the images to have a look!
