Lanchas originated in West Bengal and this town can’t seem to get enough of them. There are twenty restaurants and are named accordingly: Lancha Hut, Lancha Bhavan, Lancha Hotel (even though it is not a hotel), Lancha Palace, Lancha Shabhavan, Lancha Kitchen, you get the idea.
