I wasn’t aware that we needed to know the artist of the sculpture/statue that we chose… I just thought we needed to pick a piece of artwork that we liked. I’ll redo the assignment if this isn’t acceptable, but here is a video of a statue in a children’s playground on 64th street and riverside boulevard.
We also looked at a statue on 57th inbetween 5th and 6th that was made by the same artist who made the sculptures found in the columbus circle mall. This is a short video, but here it is anyway!
Again, I don’t know the history of these statues. Let me know if I need to find a statue that I know more about!!
