two different ways of explaining how.

Science and art, to some extent, are branches of the same field.  For instance, with both science and art, you can describe a flower. Science can offer information on the structural composition, its purpose, and even life expectancy of the flower. Art on the other hand, can capture a second from the flower, and depict it in a way that will capture all its beauty and grandeur. In other words, art is a way to measure the world around us qualitatively, whereas science focuses on quantitative information. Even information in science like the structural composition, is quantitative information because it is in comparison to the rest of the world, and for the purpose of adding to the rest of the information it can offer. Science cannot fully pinpoint aspects of life art in the way art can. An emotion can be explain through science through the biological connections and explanations, but the deepest understanding of such emotion can be best explained by art when art replicated that feeling and makes you feel it yourself. Science is undoubtedly an important field and instrumental in explaining the world around us, but in comparison to art it falls short in certain ways.

Maybe you came across what the difference is: Science explains the world, or hopes to explain and understand it. Art recreates the world, conjures a remembered reality, it wishes to explain humans, their emotions and thoughts.
