I’m a major no frills type of gal. Nicknamed the “easy one” in my family, I am pretty low maintenance. Of course I’m known for luxurious taste, decadent delicacies and I would never turn down spending some dough on an extravagant item. But overall, I guess my mama is right and I am the easy one of the bunch. When it comes to a morning regiment, easy, breezy is my middle name. While I’ve never used an ‘easy, breezy, Covergirl product, my morning routine is pretty stagnant and easily replicable.
Wake up, check my Instagram feed (majorly obsessed is an understatement,) Down a glass of water with lemon, head to the ladies room and let the magic begin. Alternate between Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap (love the seaweed pieces, really feel like I’m splashing my face with ocean water) and Mario Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. I’ve been using Mario since puberty attacked my body and have been addicted. All the ladies of my family swear by it’s products and we range from age 75-11. Then, whip out a fluffy cotton ball and soak it with some Witch Hazel, not so sure what it does but love how it’s scent free and feels so refreshing and clean. Move onto moisturizing. Can’t even begin to explain its importance. Such a good base for makeup and does your skin wonders. I’ve lived across the street from Kiehl’s for the last two and a half years and must admit I am addicted to their samples that they so graciously share with me. I’ve come to the consensus that their Ultra Facial Moisturizer does wonders. I like the added SPF, super important for those like me who are either walking or running (on a good day) all day long.
When it comes to makeup, I’m not your typical beauty junkie. I don’t love getting made up. I despise the caked on look (cake belongs in my stomach and not on my face.) Mom has been a Mac obsessor forever so I follow, of course, in her footsteps. Love Gleam eye shadow and find that it can be worn alone for daily wear or for special occasions, I add some Tempting . For really special occasions, I love mixing Gleam with some of my Barney’s treats- Make’s Celeste eyeshadow (looks more blue than the link.) or Nars’s Galapagos. Swipe on some Nars Orgasm blush and I am out the door.
Voila! That’s all there is to it. Super easy routine and leaves ample time for a delicious Fage+Chia+Blueberry+Honey Breakfast!!
