“Where cool things happen,” is a blog where energizing art is located. The makers of the website travel to different places around the world to explore art and inspire individuals. The author of the blog is not given, however there are two creators. The blog focuses on messages people are given through art.

The creators post on the site often. They post two or three times a day. It seems as if they post just to describe places and art they find cool without worrying about having an audience. Furthermore, they always have titles which are usually captivating. There is also a brief paragraph introducing the artists, describing the purpose of the piece, and stating where in the world the piece is located. Throughout the blog, there are not that many comments. In the comments that are there, the audience usually praises the artwork.

The blog entertains individuals. It gives them a chance to be inspired with such simple objects. For instance, one theme focuses on advertisements on buses. It illustrates all sorts of creative ads, including a bus with snakes over it which advertises the zoo and a bus with dirty clothes hung all over it to illustrate the importance of detergent. Another example of inspiring art is created by Cecilia Levy. She takes books from the last century and transforms them into new objects by cutting the book into small pieces and rearranging them. Some of the objects she creates are teacups, acorns, and flowers. This type of art shows the reader that the story lives on despite the shape.

The site is organized and contains a whole bunch of pictures for each topic. It is comprised of 20 categories. The categories include advertisements, architecture, art, food, photos, etc. The photos in each category are detailed and interesting. There is a lot of emphasis on nature throughout the blog especially in the outdoor category. Additionally, the cool places the blog shows look beautiful; they build a desire for an individual to visit them. It makes people feel as if there is so much more in the world.

In the arts categories, there are different kinds of arts displayed. Some involve street art, while some include sculptures. The blog shows a process in the development of a piece. Moreover, the photos zoom in on different parts of the art piece showing intricate designs. This helps individuals gain a greater perspective on a piece. There are also a variety of photos for each piece. The creators show different examples made by the same artist to give the reader more knowledge on the type of artwork created.

This blog informs the reader on art all over the world. It is a more relaxed website. Reading the blog made me happy since it was fascinating seeing how art is transformed into real life. It gave me an urge to experience different environments so I can feel alive again. Finally, it was intriguing looking at how art is preserved and the way it can bring people together.
