The campaign for “fewer prisons” would leave a lot of prison workers unemployed. How does “Milk Not Jails” work to gain the support of those workers, and policy makers who are concerned with the loss of employment?
In the Op-Edit “New York Should Make Milk, Not Prisons”, collaboration with local farmers who support the “Milk Not Jails” agenda was mentioned. I am curious to know if there were any New York dairy farmers who would opposed “Milk Not Jails”? If so, what were their grievances with this campaign?
