We know that this is a difficult time for everyone!  Macaulay is actively monitoring all announcements and policies from CUNY, NYC, the State of New York, and beyond.

We have set up some Macaulay-specific policies, services and recommendations. In considering our responses, we have three main priorities:

• To protect the health and safety of everyone in the Macaulay community, consistent with the best available scientific information and data
• To prevent misinformation, unnecessary anxiety, and discrimination
• To preserve the students’ educational experiences

We know that working during a time of disruption and possible quarantine is not ideal, and that it will be difficult to replicate a typical semester experience if there are numerous closures and absences in the community. We want to do all we can to support the overall well-being of the students, faculty and staff of Macaulay. It is our goal to be flexible, and to respond to needs humanely and with compassion, especially as the overall picture emerges and the situation in the area evolves.
