Wednesday Night, May 30th

I’m leaving for China tomorrow! Keep up with my journeys in China at this separate site: http://eportfolios.macaulay.cuny.edu/beijingadventures/! I’ll be away for 9 weeks in the boiling summer of Beijing, but it’ll be worth it. Living with Grandma, studying Chinese at Tsinghua, and exploring the bustling streets hold the potential for many great stories and experiences.

This is my Packing List.

Right now, May 30th 2012 at 11:57pm, I’m a little concerned because Air China isn’t letting me check-in online yet. It’s not that big a deal, because I can just check in once I get to JFK, but I’d like to save some time. Tomorrow morning, my dad will come pick me up and we’ll eat lunch at Flushing. Then he’ll send me to the airport. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

On another note, final grades for Spring Semester are supposed to be up today, but I’m still missing my grade from one of my professors. So between the anxiety of not knowing my grade and the excitement of going to China in another 16 hours or so, it’s easy to tell why I’m still awake (well, that and the habit of staying up as an architecture student).
