Hola Class,

I am writing this blog post while sitting at my desk, munching on some spicy tuna rolls. If anyone had asked me what my favorite food was five years ago, I would have answered “pizza” without hesitation. Around five years ago, however, an “all you can eat” sushi bar opened up near my house. Upon my first time eating there, I instantly fell in love. I had the option of sitting at the bar or being served at a table. That day, I chose to sit at the bar. I was able to watch the sushi chef create every gorgeous roll I ordered directly in front of me. I instantly realized that sushi-making is an incredible art. From then on, I have had a new respect for sushi, and those wonderful artists who sculpt it from raw fish, seaweed and rice.

PS: I have tried making homemade sushi myself; it did not turn out pretty.
