Never before have I met a man as interesting as Richard Stremme. While I know people consider such things as tattoos and graffiti as art, Richard Stremme was the first person I met who actually came from that background. Many people have a stereotype of people connected with punk rock and graffiti, but he did not fit that stereotype. Quite the opposite actually. Richard Stremme showed me how all this could be interpreted as art and opened up a whole new world to me. I was fascinated with all the quirks and activities he participates in (such as carving wood.) I also like the fact that he takes pride in his work. His story about refusing to make the tattoo for the group of girls also affected me. His presentation to us showed me that many different things can be art and that I should open up my mind to experience new things.
