    NYC Subway in the 1980s
    Really interesting photo in the 80’s by Bruce Davidson because I think it captures continuity and contrast between the past and the present. Continuity in that the image feels kinetic and feels busy: Imagine that image in a modern train. It wouldn’t look out of place. But the massive graffiti reflects something really interesting about the culture their compared to today

    Even when the stock market started booming etc it took a while I guess for the changes to appear on the streets
