    This photo by Mary Ellen Mark really caught my eye because the black-and-white effect really added to the emotion in their eyes. Though one of them has a masquerade mask one, one can still see the intense emotion shining through. The girl leaning her head on his shoulder, looking sad or worried, really adds to the overall feel of the photo.;

    This photo by Helen Levitt intrigued me the most. Just the overall humbleness of the photo, with the innocence of the children playing and the men sitting in the back really caught my attention. I don’t know what it is about this photo, perhaps I just really like black and white pictures, but this photo caught my eye and wouldn’t let me look away.
