When I was a child, my ears would not drain water out properly after baths or swimming. This resulted in really painful ear infections, which ultimately led to me needing to get “ear tubes.” Tubes function exactly as they sound; they are tube shaped, and placed into children’s ears to help drain excess fluid out. It’s actually a very common thing, however, I believe the design can be improved because they are supposed to fall out naturally as a child grows, but mine took many years to fall out. Maybe tubes with a different shape or texture would help the tubes to fall out more naturally. With more research, there are probably many things one could change about the design.
