The Sounds of a Panic Attack

Sounds In My Head

Jules- AAAAAAAA, I think I swallowed a leaf

May- You’re panicking

Jules- NO! It was on the plate before, and now its gone

May- Ok, look around

Jules- It’s not under the plate or around the plate, aaaaaa my throat hurts

May- Ok, the leaf is gone, but you are still just panicking

Jules- The leaf could have gotten into my stomach or into my lungs. My throat feels strange and my chest feels heavy and my stomach hurts

May- That’s exactly what panicking is

Jules- No, it wasn’t like this last time

May- It probably was, you just erased your memory of it

Jules- Even if I did, I don’t think it felt like this

May- You haven’t panicked in a while, you don’t remember

Jules- Fine, go ahead and believe that but I don’t believe you

May- Fine, I’ll leave

Jules- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Jules- aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Jules- Wait, i’m shaking now, This could be a panic attack

May- Yes, next time can you start listening to me earlier?

Jules- How am I supposed to do that while I’m panicking?

May- Good point, if you know you’re panicking while you’re panicking, are you really panicking?
