Zipping Away: An Exploration of Costa Rica’s Canopy

It has been raining on and off for days but, this Sunday, my students were lucky enough to encounter just a slight drizzle as we walked on hanging bridges and went zip lining over the canopy. Join us on this journey through the cloud forest:

You wait in line for your turn…
…then you step onto the hanging bridge, it is a little wobbly but you can handle it.
You stop for a photo that you will share with your friends, and then take a good long look around.
What you see to the side…
…what you see down below.
On the third bridge you are still hypnotized by the breath-taking view.
You take a 10 minute break and gear up with helmets, harnesses, and gloves to go zip lining!
You wait up on the platform, excited and nervous for what will happen next…
…the ultimate rush of adrenaline, the Tarzan Swing!
