This is a picture of the Petronas Towers, twin sky scrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998- 2004. The Petronas Towers are a popular tourist attraction not only because of it’s location in the nation’s capital, but tourists can also walk on the skybridge and be able to see the view of Kula Lumpur (KL) at about 558 feet above ground.
Stunning picture that is almost symmetric in every aspect. There is another tower in Kuala Lumpur called the Kuala Lumpur Tower (Don’t see much originality in the name) that is considered to be the highest viewpoint in the city. The tower has many purposes, but one purpose I’m familiar with is using the tower to observe the changes in the moon’s phases to signal the beginning of a new month in the Islamic calendar.
