With a mélange of ethnic and regional differences above an abundant economical history, it is hard to believe that Jackson Heights has existed for only a century. A small neighborhood rooted in northwestern Queens, Jackson Heights is an example of an area where so much has happened in so little time. Nearly a century ago, Jackson Heights used to be as simple as farmlands and open fields; today, Jackson Heights has become one of the major anthill neighborhoods of New York City.
