This photo is an obvious example of New York City’s contribution to carbon emissions. We see it all over the city and I always think that’s a lot of pollution. The pollution that New York City generates leave a huge carbon footprint. This is neither good for the environment nor sustainable for the future. Additionally, it is harmful to the air that city-dwellers breathe. The sad part is, this is only what we can see on the surface. Imagine all the pollution that’s hidden from the public eye.
Very mysterious in the way you phrased your post. I wonder how much pollution actually is hidden from the public eye. It would seem that carbon emissions and other contributors to climate change are obvious and plain to see. But maybe there is something else we’re missing. Some big contributing factor that if we identified, isolated, and resolved, could give major steps towards receiving the effects of climate change.
Whatever we get used to, we get desensitized from it and are unable to see past our habits. It is these major things that really affect our planet and is what we’re blind to. Furthermore, it is the taxis in the background as well which cause such pollution to come about but I think the idea is that people got used to the major things in the city which cause pollution and it is the major things which are hidden from our view because we see it all the times.
