Needle in Hay Stack

I was walking by the 23rd station where I see what looks like a haystack. This left me wondering whether the old ways of farming are better than today’s industrial society. Although technology would say, “KEEP ME”, the world around us might say differently. When seeing the horses around the city, it reminds me that the transportation used to be slower yet more efficient in terms of sustainability. Although this is just a thought, I think that this type of thought has ramifications that could affect all of us. People get so used to technology that they don’t appreciate what it’s doing for us so maybe when we use our phones, cars or even dishwasher we should recognize how fortunate we are for having such an easy time but at the same time, one should look at the haystack and say what a wonderful world we have and maybe take steps towards at least recognizing how everything has a use and its up to us to use them in the right way and not let the world rot around us.
