Therese Raquin was an excellent play and I thoroughly enjoyed its execution, acting and thought it was successful in capturing the audience’s attention. The set was extremely well done, along with the beautiful background and water. The dimmed lights focused perfectly on the stage and captured the audience’s attention effortlessly. Furthermore, the audience for the play ranged greatly and showed diversity in age groups, from both young and old. It was interesting to see that there was almost a balance of older adults and the youth as well. The audience was respectful and very transfixed onto the stage and very engaged with everything that was going on during the play. There was laughter and various reactions/responses coming from the audience, which highlights the strength of the play even further. Without a doubt, the performance was hugely successful and entertaining.
