For the upcoming Great Issues Forum on Economic Power, I’d like for each of you post a question here by Thursday at the latest. The questions do not need to be elaborate. In fact, short and direct inquiries will be more likely to be used by the moderator. Here is the website for the event–again, a most impressive line up: http://greatissuesforum.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=76

Just off the top of my head I think the question should concern the recent Buy Out. Seeing as the Stock Market just shot back up 1000 points or so, it would be fascinating to see the speakers take on the subject of our brand new national banks! Perhaps that’s a bit inflammatory on my part but as the global market seems intent on buying all the debt it raises an interesting question to the future of private banking. I realize this isn’t a question per say, but I think it should be included in our question.
