Hi everyone, as you know, the Surveillance Societies: What Price Security Conference that Dean Tomasch and I are organizing will take place April 24-26. We will have 50 or so panelists over the course of the three days and additional folks attending sessions, and need help with steering them around. So this note is to see if you are willing and able to do this for any (or all!) of the days. Volunteering will also allow you to attend parts of the Conference that you are interested in . Here is the website for your information–and of course, there would be no payment for you.

Here is the web site–though this the call for papers. The updated one will be up by the end of the week with the program:

Hi Professor Quinby,
I would love to volunteer one of the days though I don’t know which day yet.
nandini — March 16, 2009 @ 11:55 pm
Oh yes, and when do we need to confirm by?
lquinby — March 17, 2009 @ 9:25 pm
Hi Nandini, that’s great. I will need to know by the beginning of April at the latest. Volunteers can attend panels for free this way, by working the Registration table and helping during half day segments–so you could choose Friday afternoon, Saturday morning or afternoon or Sunday morning. Anyone else interested?

I could volunteer on Saturday morning for sure.
