Only in America

When I hear people say, “Only in America,” many things come to mind. For example, often when immigrants examine the U.S., they are happy and proud to be here instead of anywhere else, because this country is able to tolerate so many forms of diversity. People accept differences, and practice whatever religion they like, wear whatever clothes they like, and are more able to express themselves then they would be able to in their native countries. Even when it comes to being successful in another country, immigrants are more likely to choose America over any other place. Only in America do immigrants think they can turn their hopes and opportunities into fulfilled dreams, and achieve a higher living standard. So when I think of “Only in America,” I can hear the immigrant saying it with pride.
