This project asks whether the invasive red-eared slider turtles are out-competing the painted turtles native to the Bronx River, and considers factors such as pollution and plant-life abundance as explanations.

  1. So it’s not that Red eared sliders are more aggressive or more opportunistic feeders–it’s that they’re tougher when it comes to environmental factors such as pollution?
