The Arts in New York City

You all may still be angry at CU for inviting Iranian President, Ahamdinejad, to speak at the College, but don’t let that stop you from seeing its ballet performance which will be shown only this week for four days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday @ 8pm @ Miller Theatre @ Columbia University). The only people that I know that has tickets to the performance as of right now are Wei Pan, Norma Perez-Hernandez, and me (John Ettikkalayil). The tickets are usually $35 dollars, but if you bring your student ID you will get 40% off, so the tickets are $21 dollars each (you can purchase two discounted tickets with one student ID; thats how I bought one for Norma).

I bought the tickets for the Friday performance (if anybody wants to go as a group). I know Stephen is dieing to see a ballet, so someone go with him and buy a ticket and watch the performance with us.

TIP: Better to buy the tickets directly from the Miller Theatre Box Office (located at Columbia University). Take the 1 train to 116th street and get off at the Columbia side. It’s to the left of the gate (big banner that says Miller Theatre). If you still can’t find it ask the secuirty guard at the front of the Columbia University gates.
