In my search for possible dance performances I wanted to see, I came across a festival that’s being held throughout October by Danspace Project. It’s called the “Near & Far East Mini Festival,” and it showcases dances from I believe Japan and India. One of the main focuses of these performances is to try to put a modern touch on some traditional dances, which is what I found interesting. The tickets generally range from $15 to $20 (a good deal).
