Talk:Migration
From The Peopling of New York City: Irish Communities
This page looks pretty good - though I think you could break up some of these paragraphs a bit with bullet points, particularly when listing figures or years. It would be better to list temporal/historical information in a timeline format rather than listing each year and its associated events in a paragraph format.
Finally, the "Areas Settled" and "Employment" sections are just stuck in at the bottom as links. This has to be integrated into the actual page. I'd suggest adding an introductory paragraph above the "forgotten era" section that introduces the "migration" topic to the reader and explains what they will find in this section.
This paragraph can be short, but it should give a brief overview of irish migration, a short description of (and link to) the "Areas Settled" and "Employment" sections, and then concluded by introducing each of the sections within this page. -- GTD
