P.S. 169

P.S. 169 is located on 7th avenue and 44th Street. It is directed by Principal Joseph Santiago, and the school's mission is a commitment to the idea that "every child is able to reach excellence and high standards." The school has a variety of programs that support this mission, including the Sunrise program- an enrichment program that selects gifted student in the 4th and 5th grades, and the Sunset program, which serves students with learning disabilities.

The school is affiliated with Lutheran Medical Center, one of two local hospitals in Sunset Park.
